Setting Goals, the Pros and Cons
How do goals work? When a goal is set up, consciousness expands and changes to incorporate that goal making it a possibility, and energy shifts to make that goal happen. Steps are taken and work is put into fulfilling that goal automatically.
However the problem with setting a goal is this- When a goal is not achieved, disappointment sets in and failure is recorded in the energy field creating resistence towards attaining the fulfilment of subsequent goals. Failure to attain a goal is mostly bound to happen in the initial stages when the foundation of our self-worth is just being laid. Why?
Because the person making the goal is still not ready to attract the goal into his experience. For example, if a new bud thinks that it can attract the Queen Bee, then it needs to think again. It has to first become that flower which emanates wonderful fragrance for the Queen Bee to become attracted to it and then grace it with its presence. The bud can have dreams of attracting the Queen Bee, but it still has to become that which can easily bring the Queen Bee to it.
This is the natural Law of Attraction, and this Law plays no favorites. It is generous and allowing to ALL who respect its methods of operation. Goal setting gives a focal point that will take you in its direction, but it is very important to know where you are at this current moment, and make shifts until you get closer to your goal and what happens is that you will one day know when the manifestation of your goal is close at hand. The knowledge just dawns upon you. Meanwhile, make the required changes in your energy and consciousness, to get you closer and closer to where you need to be.
